Donald J. Moore began his land surveying career in 1980 with the Defense Mapping Agency while serving in an enlistment with the U.S. Air Force. He has dedicated himself to the profession, continuing his education at Tidewater Community College, Virginia Beach, VA and finishing his pre-licensing requirements at Guilford Technical Community College, Greensboro, NC.

A North Carolina native, Mr. Moore received his professional surveyor's license December 16, 1991, began private practice in October 1992. In 1995, Mr. Moore purchased the records of the Survey/Engineering firm of Hudson & Almond upon their retirement and continued to service their clients.

From 1992 until 2009, Donald J. Moore, P.L.S. specialized in boundary surveys and development design, offering professional services throughout North Carolina. After 18 year as licensed surveyor in North Carolina, has pursued other career opportuinities in addition to providing private counseling on survey/engineer type situations at hourly fee rates.
