Commercial Sites Commercial Site surveys often have unique requirements which exceed the minimum standards for land surveys. The commercial client should specifically request that the work be performed by a licensed land surveyor. You don't want to leave this job to the technicians. The liabilities are just too great to take unnecessary risks. The ALTA survey requirements were developed to address most of the issues on commercial sites.
